Best Cancer Fighting Foods



Many types of cancer diseases are associated with bad nutrition besides the chemical disorder that causes cancer cells to grow more. Most of us forget the important role of good nutrition for fighting cancer and maintaining the body’s immunity to fight all other diseases. New researches were carried out on how to fight cancer and if such mission depends on certain foods or not. It was found that all kinds of vegetables and fruits contain important nutrients for enhancing the immunity and fighting all diseases. While specific types of dark green leafs, beta carotene and acidic fats rich nutrients show quick response in fighting cancer. It was also found that an appropriate daily serving of 5 different fruits and 5 different vegetables can reduce the risk of cancer and all chronic diseases. But unfortunately many lack this knowledge such that only 20% of Americans eat the required diet for protecting the body.

Tomatoes:

Plants rich in Lycopene are known to fight certain kinds of cancer such as the ovarian, cervical and prostate cancer. Lycopene is a chemical that can be found in tomatoes, and many cancer fighting medications depending on Lycopene have shown quick results in curing the disease.






Cabbage, Broccoli and Cauliflower:

Sulphur rich foods such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussel sprouts are known to be highly resistive to cancer. They are considered some of the main foods used for curing and fighting all kinds of cancer; especially stomach, skin and breast cancer since they contain the Sulforaphane component.













Green and Black Tea:

Teas are the favorite drinks for all of us. They also are known as good sources for catechins, and hence; powerful sources for antioxidants. Antioxidants, found mostly in green tea, are considered as important factor for fighting stomach and skin cancer, and reducing the liver dysfunction.









Carrots:

Beta carotenes; which are found in carrots, pumpkins, squash, sweet potatoes and colored pepper; have showed great protection against cancer diseases as consuming these vegetables regularly can prevent cancer cells growing.
They are also important for the eyes, the hair and the skin.













Berries:

Berries are the most common types of fleshy fruits that were formed from a single ovary. There are many kinds of berries which are different in color and texture, and taste as well. Grapes, strawberries, blueberries, black and white berries, wildberries, etc. are known to show high protection against cancers since they contain a chemical that is called “Anthocyanin”. It is known as one of the antioxidants and the component that gives a special color to the berries.
